We Serve in the Spirit of Christ
Pastor Leon Dillard Sr. and Elder Darlene Dillard were both ordained and commissioned to go out and take the gospel of Jesus Christ to other parts of the nation according to Mark 16:15. Under EL & EM Community Ministries, they have traveled extensively- preaching and teaching in the states and abroad. For more than 20 years, Pastor Leon Dillard, Sr. and his wife Elder Darlene Dillard served and received ministerial tutelage under the dynamic leadership of Abundant Life Ministries of Richmond, VA. This leadership included the founder, Apostle Steve I. Foreman and Lady Olivia Foreman and Senior Pastor Gary Foreman and Lady Latonya Foreman. We thank all who have and continue to co-labor with us, with special thanks to Elders George and Gloria Thomas of ALCC for their priceless wisdom.

We Love and We Honor
The EL & EM Community Ministries is currently based in Yale of Sussex County, VA. El and EM was derived from the first names of Pastor Leon and Elder Darlene's mothers, Ellen Dillard and Emma Gaines. Honoring their parents is a driving force for their ministry as they know that their mothers would want them to reach the highest heights for Jesus Christ. Pastor Leon and Elder Darlene hold in their hearts a love for all people. Their focus is to introduce the world to Jesus Christ and teach people to live an enhanced and abundant life in Christ.
